Circulating Proteins Represent Lifestyle Risk Factors for Heart Disease: A Correlational Analysis in the FHS.

Thirty proteins were related to alcohol consumption. Five proteins were related to physical activity. These findings help us understand how our lifestyle choices affect our risk of developing multiple chronic diseases by altering levels of blood proteins.
