FHS News: Dr. Emelia Benjamin receives AHA’s Louis B. Russell Jr. Memorial Award

AHA awards Dr. Emelia J. Benjamin and Dr. Willie Lawrence the Louis B. Russell Jr. Memorial Award.  This is a National Volunteer Award, where the AHA honors extraordinary individuals whose contribution in support of the mission, are transforming health in communities nationwide.

In addition, Dr. Benjamin received the 2024 Honorary Fellow of the American Society for Preventive Cardiology Award.
