Framingham Risk Score (Function) Policy

The Framingham risk score calculators, developed by FHS investigators (NHLBI and Boston University) with data from the Framingham Heart Study, are posted at the Framingham Heart Study website, under “Risk Functions.” The risk score calculators are available for public use, and do not require any specific permission or licensing fees.

No claims can be made, however, at any of your study/organization/commercial/company websites (or other documents) stating or implying endorsement by the Framingham Heart Study in the use of the risk calculator for your study purposes or for promotional purposes.

The Framingham Heart Study is not responsible for any errors in calculation of these risk scores, whether calculations are here made on FHS website or elsewhere.
