About the FHS LEGACY Process

  • All data and tissue received from the FHS LEGACY program will be identified only by a FHS LEGACY ID – no identifiers will ever be associated with your donation, and all data remains anonymous.

  • Any researcher interested in using FHS LEGACY data or samples is required to provide a detailed scientific proposal with a strong rationale for science, funding, expertise, and implementation feasibility that will be reviewed by a FHS LEGACY Scientific Committee.

  • All data for LEGACY will be under the direction of the FHS LEGACY Co-Directors and supervision of the FHS PI, Dr. Donald Lloyd-Jones, and the FHS Executive Committee.

  • All scientific discoveries and publications from the LEGACY program will be available online for all LEGACY and FHS participants and the public to access and review.
